Consultant Dashboard – Increasing the Productivity of all Consultants
The more time a consultant spends in front of clients the higher fees they bring in. Customers are getting more wary about paying for consultant “desk-time” and that means consultants need to be able to complete high quality, professional reports and presentations much faster. With consultingforce, time spent away from clients is much more productive and with the entire knowledge base of your practice to draw on.
Using the workflows in the system will drive actions, such as setting a date with a client to review a proposal once it has been submitted. The action list will present pre-ordained actions to consultants to ensure they follow your process ensuring nothing slips through the cracks and client projects meet schedules. Like all elements in the system, actions are always linked to relevant data.
Projects on behalf of fee paying clients are at the heart of all consulting practices. The project tab, linked to the calendar, will show consultants exactly where they are in relation to each project they are assigned to. They can see and interact with other consultants on the project and access all relevant files and data relating to those projects and customers.
Each consultant stamps their individuality and experience on all external written communication, especially the executive summary. The knowledge base ensures valuable information such as benchmarks, CVs, capability statements, testimonials, service data sheets, etc is always included in each formatted report or presentation as required, delivered in a consistent and professional format each time.
While most activities with clients will be through specific projects, it is everyday interactions with clients that can typically lead to new business. Consultants will use this area to update the CRM system as new opportunities arise, which either they can do or can be assigned to other consultants. Client KPI’s outside of specific projects can be measured and monitored here.
Most customer facing professionals are notoriously poor at keeping track of and claiming for expenses. Apart from cash flow implications, many expenses should be linked to client projects so that they can bill for them with a facility to apply an appropriate uplift. The expense module links directly to consultants, projects and the billing system, further reducing administration time.
Just as a practice will want to track its overall performance so will consultants, especially if they are linked to a performance bonus scheme. The performance tab will show consultants exactly where they are in relation to targets set by the practice. This ensures that all consultants within the practice are working towards the same common goals, with clear visibility of their track record.
Consultants only pay a monthly fee of €50.
Each consultant will have access to what they need to increase their productivity.
